솔로몬의 아가 3장

1 내가 밤에 나의 침상에서 나의 혼이 사랑하는 분을 찾았도다. 내가 그분을 찾았으나 나는 그분을 발견하지 못하였도다.

1 By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

2 내가 이제 일어나 도시의 거리들을 돌아다니겠으며, 나의 혼이 사랑하는 분을 내가 광대한 길들에서 찾겠노라. 내가 그분을 찾아다녔으나 나는 그분을 발견하지 못하였도다.

2 I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

3 도시를 돌아다니는 파수꾼들이 나를 발견하였도다. 내가 그들에게 말하기를, “너희가 내 혼이 사랑하는 분을 보았느냐?” 하였도다.

3 The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?

4 내가 그들을 지나친 지가 얼마 되지 아니하였는데 내가 나의 혼이 사랑하는 그분을 발견하였도다. 내가 그분을 붙들고 나의 어머니의 집, 곧 나를 잉태한 여인의 방실 안으로 그분을 모실 때까지 나는 그분을 놓아 드리지 않았도다.

4 It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

5 오, 예루살렘의 딸들인 너희여, 내가 노루들과 들의 암사슴들로 너희에게 당부하노니, 그분께서 기뻐하시기 전에는 너희는 나의 사랑을 흔들지도 말고, 깨우지도 말라.

5 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

6 ¶ 몰약과 유향으로, 상인의 모든 가루들로 향기롭게 되어 연기 기둥들같이 광야에서 나오시는 이분은 누구이신가?

6 ¶ Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?

7 그분의 침상을 보라. 그것은 솔로몬의 것이로다. 이스라엘의 용맹한 자들 중에서 육십 명의 용맹한 남자들이 그 침상의 주위에 있도다.

7 Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.

8 그들은 모두 전쟁에 숙련된 자들로서 칼들을 잡고 있도다. 모든 사람마다 밤에 있는 두려움으로 인하여 자기 넓적다리에 자기 칼을 차는도다.

8 They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night.

9 솔로몬왕이 자신을 위하여 레바논의 목재로 병거를 만들었도다.

9 King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon.

10 그가 그것의 기둥들을 은으로, 그것의 바닥을 금으로, 그것의 덮개를 자주색 천으로 만들었으며, 예루살렘의 딸들을 위하여 그것의 한가운데를 사랑으로 깔았도다.

10 He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.

11 오, 너희, 시온의 딸들이여, 나아가서 왕관을 쓴 솔로몬왕을 보라. 그 왕관은 그의 정혼의 날, 곧 그의 마음이 흡족하던 날에 그의 어머니가 그에게 씌운 것이라.

11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
